MAHY Khoory Automotive, Dongfeng’s official UAE distributor, unveiled the futuristic Dongfeng 007 REEV sedan at the EVIS Abu Dhabi 2025. This flagship model offers an impressive 1,200 km of driving range using its hybrid system (a 28.4 kWh battery combined with a 1.5 L petrol range extender). With optional scissor doors, frameless handles and a drag coefficient of just 0.209 Cd, the 007 promises both visual impact and aerodynamic efficiency. It is engineered to serve as a long‑range luxury EV tailored for UAE enthusiasts.

Launch

The Dongfeng 007 formally made its debut in the UAE at EVIS Abu Dhabi in April 2025, with showroom availability expected by late 2025 through MAHY Khoory branches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Price

The Dongfeng 007 price in UAE has not been announced yet, but based on the GCC trends, final pricing may align with the premium mid-size EV segment, which will be around AED 200,000 once released.

The Dongfeng 007 is available in multiple configurations:

  • 540 AWD Max: Dual motors totaling 400 kW/640 Nm, AWD, 0–100 km/h in 3.9 s, 540 km range

Ride & Handling

It is built on the Dongfeng Quantum architecture, the 007 features MacPherson front and five‑link rear suspension, with a rigid chassis and aerodynamic tuning. Low Cd 0.209 enhances efficiency, while adaptive systems support whisper-quiet stability suitable for UAE highways.

Interior & Features

The interior offers a high-tech dual‑screen cockpit with a 15.6-inch central display and an 8.8-inch flip LCD instrument cluster, facial recognition, 64‑colour ambient lighting, 20‑speaker WanOS audio system, leather upholstery, panoramic canopy roof, wireless charging and intelligent parking assist.

Safety & Driver Assistance

It comes with the Dongfeng PILOT Level 2 suite features AEB, ACC, lane change assistance, memory parking (LAPA), remote parking, adaptive lighting and comprehensive camera and sensor coverage (up to 31 sensors). The vehicle also meets high crash‑safety standards with a reinforced body structure.

Competitors

The Dongfeng 007 will compete with premium electric sedans like the BYD Han EV, Tesla Model 3 Long Range and upcoming Avatr 12 EV, offering standout range and luxury tech at a potentially lower cost.
